"THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS."
Small things can ensure the longevity of a repair.
Cheap jobs and rushing through a job can cost you $$$$ you would not otherwise have to spend.
DIAGNOSTICS are a big priority. How many times have you paid for a repair that did not fix your problem? We DO NOT believe in the “shotgun method of diagnostics” wherein parts are replaced ($$$$) for symptoms and not the root problem.
Sometimes, in the event of a specific code, replacing a gas cap (with a dealer replacement) can save the customer $$ by not having to climb the diagnostic tree associated with that code. Sometimes, when the battery dies, the vehicle’s computer can store conflicting codes. We reset the computer and tell yu to drive the vehicle. If the light comes back on, we will then diagnose the issue at hand.
There have been a number of occasions when customers are totally baffled – they parked their vehicle the night before, and the next day, the vehicle does not want to drive normally, or won’t start, etc. SOMETHING is wrong… Rodents are an issue… Many manufacturers use a soy based material that encases wires, which rodents are attracted to and they chew through the soy, through critical wires… Most recently, wires to an air conditioning compressor were chewed completely with not enough wires for splicing. That’s when creativity is a valuable skill.
We are located in a rural, family concentrated area. We have parents, children and grandchildren. Our customers are people, not dollars. Although things today are expensive, we do not cut corners to increase our profit margin. We are not a chain, and we do not have ostentatious overhead that drives our prices.
Being in Westminster for the last 20 years, I have seen the following first hand…..
ISN'T IT EASY TO SEE HOW MUCH MONEY WE CAN SAVE YOUR FAMILY JUST BY DOING THE JOB RIGHT.
